Strangler Fig Migration

Define the bounded contexts that should be strangled, and chart the most efficient path to success in a modular and iterative fashion in order to sunset your legacy or monolithic system one “module” at a time. Coarse examples of domain areas to strangle include Authorization and Authentication, Catalog, Checkout, Customer, Inventory, Pricing, Promotions, Search/Faceting, etc.

Sponsored Features

Sponsored Features are features that are prioritized, designed, built, and incorporated into Broadleaf’s Framework by the Broadleaf Commerce team, which Broadleaf owns the IP and maintains on an ongoing basis. Sponsored features are explicitly prioritized, implemented, and owned by Broadleaf Commerce; but paid for by a client at a reduced rate.

Custom Extensions

Broadleaf’s consultants are uniquely qualified to assist in what is usually the bulk of a project’s activities: Custom Development. This involves the implementation of custom data structures, database queries, REST endpoints, business logic, UI, and integrations. We work closely with the client team to implement features as needed, and we provide mentorship and advisory services to client team members and SI Partners.

Custom Integrations

Integrations may be with an ERP, Order Management, Warehouse Management, or other 1st and 3rd party APIs. Integrations are often accomplished using REST APIs or a Messaging Bus along with JSON, CSV, or XML formats. Besides the technical expertise required, we offer expertise with the Broadleaf domain and how these data elements are typically mapped.
