Broadleaf Commerce version 1.5 coming Spring 2011

Broadleaf Commerce is excited to release 1.5.1 in the Spring of this year. We expect significant interest from current and prospective clients in this release. The release features a newly improved administrative platform featuring enhanced catalog, merchandising, and promotion capabilities.

As part of this release, the administrative platform is being entirely rewritten using GWT (Google Web Toolkit). "Moving to GWT allows us to better support our design goals of providing an easily extensible solution", said Jeff Fischer, Broadleaf Commerce's chief architect.
