Broadleaf Commerce, the open source software provider for building customized solutions, has partnered with EMTÉ Supermarkets and Sligro Food Group in the Netherlands. Sligro has integrated Broadleaf's Enterprise Edition both online at http://www.emte.nl/ and on its new mobile app for iOS and Android, built by Broadleaf's worldwide partner Mobiquity.

EMTÉ customers can use a native app, My Gourmet Environment, to easily see where the nearest EMTÉ is, its business hours, and the services available in that particular location. "We're excited to offer EMTÉ customers a convenient online and mobile shopping solution. From managing your loyalty account to creating shopping lists to tracking points, the grocery shopping process is streamlined through the My Gourmet Environment app and EMTÉ website," said Sandro Lauria of EMTÉ. Shoppers can use the app to purchase coupons and take the place of physical customer loyalty cards.

Additionally, the EMTÉ app will enable users to keep a current shopping list at hand. Users will have access to view what is on sale for the week at local EMTÉ stores and place those items directly on their shopping lists. "Today's shopper demands a heightened level of convenience, without sacrificing cost-savings. The EMTÉ app is designed to meet those requirements. Now, shoppers can look for offers and see reward points from one application," stated Brad Buhl, VP of Marketing and Partnerships at Broadleaf Commerce.
